After downloading the archive, importing into Flex Builder, and building the project, to launch the applications locally in Flex Builder you may need to select from the Flex Builder 3 menubar "Project - Properties - Flex Compiler" and in "Additional compiler arguments:" set -use-network=false, and then rebuild the project.
